Two opposing yet complementary elements face each other in balance in this open ring: a disc of black lava stone, porous and textured, and a finely engraved spiral silver disc. The silver structure leaves a central void, creating a simple and harmonious composition, where the strength of the earth meets the precision of the design.

The name recalls the small votive pyres used in the domestic cults of ancient Pompei: simple and symbolic structures, on which the sacred fire burned, a sign of continuity between the visible and the invisible, the everyday and the sacred.
